Bio: Born in Marcellus, NY, Aleksandr was raised to be a critical thinker at a young age. Throughout his younger years, he cultivated a broad interest and love for all kinds of knowledge. Attending Grinnell college, Aleksandr majored in English Literature, but remained fascinated with the broader picture of how our society and world works, a fascination that was supported by Grinnell's rigourous commitment to a liberal arts education. That interest proved the impetus for a personal inquiry into how we might better govern ourselves and participate in the process of empowering our world to emerge out its current state with more dignity, sanity, and vision than we think is possible.
